EXPERIMENT 2: A rainbow at classroom

We are speaking about rainbows… So we want know to know about them. What about doing a rainbow at classroom?

This is the Portuguese proposal: Why don’t you do a rainbow? It’s easy. After, you must answer some questions. You can see the proposal inthis document:

ACTIVITY 2: Solution - Light, a special rainbow

This is the way our Peace Rainbow is, full of peace words. We hope we have thought about and learnt how many feelings are colored in this paper. There, there are Spanish, Turkish, Portuguese, French, English, Galician and Catalonian words which were written by children and men and women who works or visit our Spanish School.

ACTIVITY 2: Light - A special rainbow.

What a rainbow is?

Well, this is a good question for us, in a moment in which Light Year is going on...

But, first of all, we are invited by CEIP San Xoán (Spain) to participate in coloring a special rainbow: It's the Peace Rainbow that Spanish School is doing to celebrate Peace Day (on 30/01/2015)

What's a Peace Rainbow? It's a peaceful-words rainbow.

People is writing colored words about peace in it, with this words, white paper is going to have seven colours, the seven colours of rainbow.

Spanish, Portuguese and Turkish pupils are going to put their words there. So, first of all, they are going to fill in this document.

After, Spanish pupils are going to copy the words in their respective colours in their special rainbow. (Look here Spanish Blog)

During this activity, we are going to learn about Rainbow as a Light Phenomenon. This is the activity to do.

EXPERIMENT 1: Light in our eyes

This is the year of the light and we must learn about.

So… Now, when we have just look in our eyes… we have a question for our pupils:

Have our eyes light? Where does light in our eyes come from?
